A new life for the old

For this bistro project, the idea was to work creatively within a contained budget, using color as the main design tool to give the space a fresh and distinctive identity without relying on expensive interventions.

Instead of replacing everything, the existing elements became part of the story. The original floor and ceiling were preserved and given a new life, while old materials were reused and combined with contemporary details to create a space that feels both familiar and unexpected. A carefully curated palette brings energy and warmth, while the mix of textures and finishes adds a subtle retro character with a contemporary twist.

Imagine soft lights, live music and a good glass of wine… what else?
